Our SPEAK-IT cab covers are produced by printing full colour latex inks onto acoustically transparent heavyweight vinyl, which is not only incredibly vibrant but durable along with being blood, sweat and beer resistant too – even at Glastonbury . . .
We have extensively tested numerous materials & have chosen a fantastic heavyweight acoustically transparent mesh which does what it says on the tin - it doesn't affect your sound! Of course, if you think about it, most cabs have either a metal grille or a material covering over the actual speaker, so a vinyl mesh full of holes won't cause any issues - although it seems a little odd at first! But it works - it's über vibrant in colours & is perfect for shouting about your band or promoting anything you wish to.
Our cab covers are removable & are fixed in place by one of two methods:
1. DEAD FIT: We enclose self-adhesive Velcro to place around the perimeter of your cab & voilà, your easy-to-fix & easy-to-remove cover is held neatly in place & sits perfectly proud of any manufacturer decal. Nice.
2. OVERLAP: Simply order your cover 40mm wider & deeper than the front face size to allow an overlap around the original grille/cloth - like covering a book at school, or wrapping a thin Christmas present. Something along those lines - definitely much easier to do in practice than trying to describe in words on a website ;-) Fold the edges of the cover over the original grille/cloth, hold in place with double-sided tape & fix back in place. Simples.
Did we say our covers are removable? We did? Good, because they are. Very easily.
Every cab cover is produced to your exact requirement & is custom made for you - we always proof via hi-res PDF files & would expect to have your new cab cover winging its way to you around one week after receiving your sing-off to proceed to print, but although we always endeavour to complete your order at pace please do allow up to 14 days during busy periods.
Our online SPEAK-IT! designer is a straightforward no-nonsense way of generating your cab cover exactly how you want it to be. In order to produce the best possible quality plate it’s absolutely vital you supply us with a high resolution JPEG image - optimum image quality is achieved with images at 200dpi at actual size so please ensure your original image is sufficiently high to avoid disappointment and saved as a RGB JPEG - which means your JPEG could be around 4Mb or more. Of course smaller images will still work - think of it as enlarging a photograph to hang on your wall: the bigger the original file the better the end result. Due to the size of image involved plus the accuracy required, we strongly recommend you use a laptop or desktop PC or Mac to aid positioning rather than using a mobile/cell phone. The maximum image size uploadable is 12Mb with a maximum dimension of 4500px.
Right, how does it work? Well, simply go to the SPEAK-IT! NOW page, choose your preferred maximum size and upload your JPEG image by clicking on the ADD YOUR OWN DESIGN button, where in a jiffy you’ll see your image positioned in place - oooh it’s marvellous! You can move your image around by clicking anywhere on it, plus scale it by dragging on the bottom righthand corner and also rotate it by dragging the top dead centre arrow icon. Once you’re happy with your design, simply click on ADD TO CART to confirm your design and follow the subsequent onscreen prompts for your details and all’s done.

UK orders - obviously the postal system is out of our control but all UK orders include Royal Mail's First Class Signed For delivery within the price to ensure they reach you safely and as quickly as humanely possible, generally arriving the day after despatch.
International orders - we ship all over the world and this can be selected from within the shopping cart once you have generated your cover. We mail our covers in strong tubes & international delivery is not as cheap as we'd like at £12.99, but all covers are sent fully insured and tracked for your peace of mind. Delivery to the four corners of the earth usually takes around a week, and of course we'll advise you immediately when your cover's en-route.
